Major Depressive Disorder

Location: Manhattan &Brooklyn
Age: 18 -55

Overview: If you are currently experiencing symptoms of depression, you may qualify for a research study evaluating the safety and effectiveness of a new investigational drug for the treatment of depression with Atypical or With Melancholic Features.

Qualifying participants must have had at least one previous, diagnosed episode of depression in the past five years.

If you’ve currently experienced symptoms of depression for at least one month and no longer than 6 months you may be eligible to participate in this study.

• Sadness or regularly feeling more depressed in the morning.
• Loss of interest or pleasure in all activities
• Mood doesn’t improve even temporarily when something good happens.
• Mood improves when something good happens or when you hear of something
  good about to happen
• Significant weight loss or weight gain
• Excess feelings of guilt
• Body, arms and legs feel very heavy
• Low motivation, and difficulty concentrating.

Eligible participants will be asked to attend regular office visits over 13 weeks and receive study medication and study-related medical evaluations at no cost. No health insurance is required.

Overview: If you are currently experiencing symptoms of depression, you may qualify for a research study evaluating the safety and effectiveness of a new investigational drug for the treatment of depression.  If you’ve currently experienced symptoms of depression for at least three months, you may be eligible to participate in this study

  • Sadness
  • Loss of interest or pleasure in things you enjoy
  • Weight loss or weight gain
  • Sleeping too much or not enough
  • Excess feelings of guilt
  • Body, arms and legs feel very heavy
  • Low motivation, and difficulty concentrating

Eligible participants will be asked to attend regular office visits over 6weeks and receive study medication and study-related medical evaluations at no cost. No health insurance is required.
