Schizophrenia/Schizoaffective Disorder
Location: Manhattan
Age: 18-75
Overview: SPRI is currently conducting a research study evaluating the effectiveness of a new investigational medication for treating men and women with chronic schizophrenia or schizoaffective disorder. In order to qualify for this study, patients must be clinically stable and available to attend regular office visits for the duration of the study. Patients may not be currently abusing or dependent on alcohol or illicit drugs.
Eligible patients will receive study medication and medical evaluations over a 12 month period at no cost to them. An Open-label extension study is available for an additional 6 months for eligible participants. Health insurance is not required.
